Welcome to the Rage Rag, where we share expressions of anger, exasperation, frustration, and justifiable rage from the women of the world. Today we are wrapping up a couple of weeks of what-the-fuck-is-happening as our political tensions explode into assassinations and rising threats of violence. I myself have noticed more tense situations out in public where a man is being aggressive towards a woman, one I mentioned in a recent note that went viral as hundreds of women commented, many sharing similar experiences. Read it here:

… aaaand Charlie Kirk, who famously once quipped that yes, he would make his ten-year-old daughter carry a hypothetical pregnancy to term if she were hypothetically raped, was shot basically in front of the entire world as the video of his demise was burned into all of our eyeballs, whether we wanted it or not [no consent, even in death, eh?].

Obviously the aftershocks of this assassination are going to only complicate the pre-existing political tensions, like the unceasing demand for the release of the Epstein files.

And in other news, women’s bodies in Texas are now apparently the property of the State of Texas as a new law is going to criminalize receiving and using “the abortion pill”, mifepristone, even if the woman goes entirely out of the state to procure it. Imagine going to another state to purchase and consume a little mary jane only to be arrested upon your return home because your home state believes that your body is their domain even when you aren’t physically there.

Damn.

Obviously, we know, as with all other “pro-life” legislation and laws, this will kill women.

And yet, somehow, some way, there appears to be a rising rank of “conservative” female influencers who are attracting a following of young, Gen Z women, who are eager to throw themselves onto the pyre of patriarchy if it means someone will tell them they’re pretty and buy them Starbucks and manicures. It really makes you wonder… and also kinda makes you rage just a little bit more than your own gender is okay throwing us all under the bus for the “soft girl” life.

For those of us who are not falling prey to conservative conditioning, this Rage Rag is for us. Here are two new [to me] writers with pieces that will get your red up.
